The best way to experience Ambleside is to come for a visit.
On your visit you will have the opportunity to join in some of our school weekly rhythms, as well as visit a classroom. You may experience Morning Assembly or Chapel with our community, meet some of our staff and observe in person. We look forward to introducing you to our community and the joy of a “living education”!

We are located in the sacred 19th century space known as Newberg Friends Church. This beautiful building was constructed at the same time Charlotte Mason was at the peak of her teaching career, and serves as an inspiring location creating the ideal environment for the life-giving education Ambleside seeks to provide for its students.
Every morning, students gather in the sanctuary for assembly where they submit their hearts, their heads, and their hands to God. On Wednesday mornings, the community gathers for weekly chapel. This includes singing hymns, listening to a speaker, and grade level recitations. Family and other community members are welcome to join us for chapel each week.
